Let him keep it!
I go past that thing every time I drive back to school. It's hard to believe the DOT can be so stupid. This is the same DOT, however, that tore down enlarged stop signs with flashing lights that were put up through a community fund-raising effort to stop accidents at a dangerous intersection. Their reason? The county was conforming to DOT 2000 standards, and the sign was DOT 2003, so there'd be no place for it in the paperwork. Bureaucracy sucks.
I do what I can.

Funny how other countries are plagued with hunger and death and these are the kind of concerns ours covers. :P

Well, no publicity is bad publicity, I guess. With this fresh in my mind, I decided to eat at Jukebox Charlie's a few weeks ago. They've got some decent food.

Let him keep the barn, damnit.

my favorite part about this whole thing is this:

However, Wisconsin officials say it's time for the billboards to come down. "Just because it's up there for 10 years doesn't make it right," said Les Fafard of the state transportation department.

10 yrs...thats really quite pathetic. if its been up that long why are they concerning themselves with it now? it hasnt done anything in a decade why would in the future? its kinda like that U-turn on main st in mayville. it once was illegal and had signs up that said it was an illegal turn, but ppl still did it. and look the sign is not standing anymore.

and i agree with red...i am glad that the state is wasting money on all of this. thats just great.
figuring out ways to how the world might end
hey, a cool website! heck yes!
