Hey, guys. I'm new to this board, as you can probably tell... I found out about this site from another board.
This show is in some ways like the Brendan Leonard Show, which started o ut as a cable acccess show but then turned national, so, yeah, on that forum, someone showed me this site.
The guys from PTV are cool, I admire anyone who does stuff like this. If I had some friends who were really into it that would like to film some skits, I'd sure as hell do it, but, I'm not sure if they'd want to... nyeh.

So, yeah, that's my, urm, introduction. Hehe.

If there's something you wanted me to include in my introduction, just ask. ;)

Awesome! Thanks for coming.

Yeah, I rememeber when Brendan Leonard was on ABC Family. A whole lot of Dane Cook-ish "Why Not Me?!" boiled inside of me. It's cool that they're still doing that now that they're off the air.
Hopefully, BLS could be the first in a long line of self-produced indie shows to make it on national TV. :)
I do what I can.

Well, hopefully, there ARE other indie shows, but, can't ask for too much, certainly not a whole line of shows... hehe... it's gonna get old real fast that way... (i.e., bachelor-like shows...)

I think that this is the way to go. I mean, you're getting hits from the site not because you're advertised on TV, but because someone somehow was interested in something dealing with the site...
Most people will watch anything on TV and that's how they find out about these shows, ya know? And although it might be good, the point is... urm... what I'm trying to say sounds stupid now...

But take indie music for example, there are a lot of indie bands I listen to that I love, and it's not because I heard their songs on the radio.
That's still stupid...

...anyway, if I could pay for my own domain, I'd do this kind of stuff online... the only thing I'd really wanna put on national TV is a sitcom or something... hehe.

This website's a great place for clips that aren't everyone's thing. If we put something on a TV show that not a lot of people liked, it'd suck; we chose it and chose wrong. But on this site? If you don't like it, it's just a website. It's a good excuse. :)
I do what I can.

What bands do you like? Are they mainly the ones that were on BLS?
~Sam

Oceans lay between us and the things we think we need,
but I've known many who would gladly swim to get to where you are.
Always more together than the ones you think are better off,
but darling, no one's made it half as far.
And it's so hard.
And I know how hard.
And I know how hard to pursue,
When you just ain't breaking through,
but don't you let them tell you that you're wrong.

I wouldn't say "mainly" but, yeah, I have favorites from BLS. Long Winters, oh yeah. Hehe.

I love The Long Winters, but they make me sad when I listen to them.
I'm laying out the table for to welcome you back home.
I'm calling on the angels for to lighten up your load.
I'm calling on the Majors to end this general dispair.
In the graveyard at Inchigeela, in black clothing, I'll be there.

Unsalted Butter is my favorite song... hehe.
They're not so depressing... well, not their 2nd album, anyway.

Not AS depressing... as the first...

I haven't heard that song. Yeah some songs are not depressing, like New Girl. But, put Carparts on and don't even try talking to me for about 7 minutes, I need that much time to recover.
