Postby hearts_of_oak » 2004.05.14 3:45 pm

Hey I'm Sam. I'm from the very boring town of Mukwonago, WI. There is pretty much nothing to do here unless you like to farm. I'm mainly into music. I listed to mostly Indie like Ted Leo/Pharmacists, Guided By Voices, The Promise Ring, Jets To Brazil, The Long Winters....I could go on for hours, but I'll spare you. I also have an embarrasing amount of 80's movies...Anyway, I really like the videos on your site, and I'm glad that other BLS fans got introduced to it.

Oh, just to warn you, I'm very sarcastic.
~Sam

Oceans lay between us and the things we think we need,
but I've known many who would gladly swim to get to where you are.
Always more together than the ones you think are better off,
but darling, no one's made it half as far.
And it's so hard.
And I know how hard.
And I know how hard to pursue,
When you just ain't breaking through,
but don't you let them tell you that you're wrong.

I hope those two sentiments aren't closely related...

80's movies are great, you can never have too many.
I'm laying out the table for to welcome you back home.
I'm calling on the angels for to lighten up your load.
I'm calling on the Majors to end this general dispair.
In the graveyard at Inchigeela, in black clothing, I'll be there.

Well there will be a point in time when you just can't watch another Brat Pack movie. I think that I'm at that point.

That is a great movie. I don't think I could get sick of it either. I used to be in love with Francis Fratelli.

He was also Cypher in The Matrix. I love that actor; his name is Joe Pantoliano.

I could never get sick of watching Lost Boys. Not that great of a story line lol, but when you've got both the Coreys and Keifer, you can't go wrong

He is a good actor, but I was joking about being in love with him. I've never seen Cypher in The Matrix. What is it about?

"Cypher" is the character in the movie "The Matrix"

If you don't know what the matrix is then hell is probably below 0 at the moment.
You could always watch the trailer here, if you don't know that is.

Oh...I thought that he meant that the movie was called "Cypher in the Matrix". I know what the Matrix is, but I have never seen it.

I am glad you know, but make it the top list of movies to watch, the Matrix series is the best, the first will always be better. It played into that whole first is the best but the sequel sucked in comparison theme.

Maybe I'll rent it tonight. Do I have to watch them one after the other, or will I be satisfied enough with just watching the first one?

It would be good to see the other two after, trust me, after the first one you will want to see the ending in the third movie, but if you skip the second you will miss all the sappy stuff. (1st movie= you learn, 2nd=sappy, 3rd= ending and fighting)

I've only seen the first Matrix I love it, and everyone says the other 2 aren't as good so I don't really want to watch them.

sam- about that Keifer comment. Any movie with Keifer Sutherland is great. (I think I'm going to go rent Young Guns and Lost Boys tonight, maybe I'll throw Cowboy Up in there too lol)
