Duck and Cover!

Postby Jeff » 2004.05.20 11:48 am

Petey found this a while back, but I wanted to show Dave. This rocks. It mixes an old PSA that we actually saw in class with Earthbound! Watch and learn.

That is friggin awesome. Mr. Saturn knows his shit especially when the possibility of a nuclear attack is very real.

I remember seeing the actual video for that "duck and cover" campaign on t.v. somewhere... so you're telling me they actually played that film in your school?

One of our teachers played it for a media class, to show us how media affected people and what have you.

Mr. Saturn is cool, no matter what he is used for. He also makes a good object to throw at people when playing SSBM. Oh yes, while I am on that subject, If I go to the ball(most likely yes) Can I bring my PS2 and Gamecube? It could make things fun. Jeff could have a shot at DDR 8)

please do bring your PS2. I have a GameCube there, but bring all your games and a couple controllers (properly labeled with initials or something).

Just in case anybody was interested, here is the real video. Thisis the most downloaded movie on the site. The really cool thing is that this video is copyright free. Anyone can use it for anything. So download away and show all your friends. Then they will know what to do when they see a big flash!!!

You rock, Petey! I never had thought to look for that online, and I was supposed to get that tape from Mac a while back but never did. Thanks!
