I used to think the company that made my cell phone was cool, but I'm now having second thoughts about LG.

Hmm, interesting. I don't know if I would think any less of that company but I do see how completely unnecessary it is to have a t.v. included into a fridge. I can't wait for the day of edible television sets.

I don't know why you guys don't think that's cool. (especially jeff, who has a Television in his kitchen.) It makes sence. But think about the possibilities. What if it was a touch screen monitor hooked up to the internet and your household LAN, it's amazing.

Actually thats not a bad idea... A monitor on your t.v. with a toilet as a chair. You would never have to move. And when your counting up frags in ut2004 on your fridge-o-monitor, you can blame your deaths on "just getting a soda".

petey, that was the "idea of the future" a while back. the idea was the fridge could talk to you thru the monitor and help you plan meals and order groceries (since all food items would have RFID tags). I just don't think it's practical to have the tv in the fridge. if youre going to have a tv in your kitchen, you'd think you'd want more options for placement. the fridge cant really go too many places that are practical. so if youre kitchen isn't set up just right, the whole idea sucks.

Here's what makes sense...

Make the TV the cover to a microwave.

but then you can't see what you're cooking... and watching your tv would give you radiation posioning.

Yes but you could make a awful lot of radium and sell it to Dave and make a hefty amount of money.

The only problem is the radium would be grown on your corneas and you'd have to scrape it off periodically with a lead spoon.
